Learn how to win over the hearts and minds of politicians and the community in this fun, interactive workshop hosted by Australian Marriage Equality (AME) in Lawson.

With the federal election now confirmed for July 2, there’s never been a better time to hone your lobbying skills and support the marriage equality campaign.

The Blue Mountains/Macquarie forum is one of 30 such events being held in electorates across Australia by AME.

“Our goal is to build community support as well as support in the next parliament across a wide range of seats,” said AME National Director, Rodney Croome.

Afternoon tea and coffee will be provided at the Lawson event, which will be held from 2pm on May 15 in the Joy Anderson Room at the Mid Mountains Community Centre, 7 New Street, Lawson.

The forum will run for approximately two hours.
