ddadisabled-e1326047419567The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a big, bold and sometimes confusing Federal Government scheme for people living with a disability.

What does it all mean? Is it the way forward for you? What does it mean for the people you support and care for?

The answers to these questions and more will be covered at two upcoming learning days in the Blue Mountains, in Katoomba and Springwood.

To be held at the Katoomba Neighbourhood Centre and at the Springwood Neighbourhood Centre, the learning days will feature informative clear discussion about the possibilities and potential problems associated with the NDIS.

The same information session will run at both Katoomba and Springwood, and will be specifically tailored to LGBTIQ people, people living with HIV, and their supporters, advocates and carers.

Both events are free, and include lunch and refreshments.

Registrations are essential. To register your attendance or for any queries, please phone the Katoomba Neighbourhood Centre on (02) 4782 1117 or the Springwood Neighbourhood Centre on (02) 4751 3033.
